Dear Qu-Member,

The Qu-League is growing bigger ... That's why we must have rules ... Order ... is one of the keywords I'm talking about.

The rules for Members:

  1. To make a mission count there must be at least 2 Qu-members (or one Qu-member and an Aspirant) participating in the mission as DD or as Sub.
  2. The host or one of the Qu-members, participating in the mission, will keep the score, the sunken tonnage, the date, who survived, etc ... He will fill in the battle-report. Here you can find the link: BatRep.
  3. Anyone leaving a mission without being killed or without permission will gain no tonnage. The mission will be counted as a non survived mission. This will bring the successful mission rate down.
  4. A player who is bounced out of the game due to software problems will get his earned part of the sank tonnage, but the mission will count as a non-surviving mission.
  5. In a mission, all Qu-members and Aspirants, will receive an equal part of all tonnage's sunk in the game on your side of the front. The tonnage of the sunken ships will be added, and divided by the number of friendly players.
  6. An announcement of a new aspirant is done by mail before or after the game, not during the battle.
  7. If a sub is sunk during the mission, he has a right to have an equal part of the sunken tonnage. He will also gain " the wounded badge " if the undivided tonnage is less than 7.000 Tons. I am sure he did not sink on purpose.
  8. Once a week the site page 'wall of fame Members' will be updated, notifying all tonnage's sank that week, new ranks and medals, missions-sitrep, etc...
You'll find on that 'wall' the missions you played as sub and as DD, and you can see the outcome of the different missions. You can take a look in your medal box, or see your present rank. If you are proud to be a sub Captain, you can take a look at your conning-tower. The successful missions are indicated by a torpedo figure. Each survived mission gives you a red torpedo. You'll receive a green one when you've done 10, and a blue one for 50 successful missions. The DD-Captains will receive black subs on a collared background.(1 = red, 10 = green, 50 = blue).
  9. The Aspirant: For the record on 'the wall of fame Aspirants', we will still count the real tonnage's he sank. It can be useful to know if the Aspirant is a beginner, or a good sub.
After doing the 6 Trials, he will have a fresh start as Qu-member on the 'wall of fame Members', and will follow the rules for Members.
  10. The date of the last mission you did will be indicated on the wall. A member who didn't play one mission for the past 3 months will loose all rights (medals, rank, tonnage, ...) as a member. He will have to restart as an aspirant, doing the 6 trial-missions all over.
  11. The mission only count's when the members are sailing under the Qu-name. This means that you have to play under you're 'Qu-name'. Members who are sailing the mission with other nicknames won't get a part of the tonnage sank. Other possibilities: Qu-U (Ultra).
  12. When the time compression is up to 4, and you want to attack, you have to reset the compression on 1. Whenever a playing member is shot, and the compression wasn’t down to 1, the mission won’t count, and will be restarted.
  13. The DD’s should do a close protection of their convoy. They can and may not wander off more than 5 nautical miles (9000 yards) from the convoy, in the search for Subs.

  14. Tonnage-calculations:

Aspirants (survive or dead)

Tonnage the aspirant sank

Torpedo on the wall of aspirants

18.000 sunk by aspirant

Result:

16.  When DD’s are sinking their own convoy ships, the tonnage of the sank ships will be added with the sub’s total tonnage. This rule will be applied only on vessels with playing members. So if a AI-destroyer (artifficial) hits a convoy ship, that tonnage will not be added on top of the subs total tonnage.

Scored Game Rules

Pre-Game:

The Host of the game shall give the IP# for the server and amount of time until the server will be open.

The Host will set game parameters as follows: all boxes checked “on” except the “radar box” (turn it off)

Once all players have joined the server, the Host will announce if there is to be a “time cap” on the game or not. (Minimum 2 hrs for the smaller missions, 3 hrs for the larger ones)

Once the Host offers the mission, ALL PLAYERS will record the following:

1-     The date

2-     The starting time

3-     All players’ names and the # of the vessel each have chosen separating the DD from the Subs.

 Start of Game:

Each player will announce his/her successful connection into the game by typing “in” in the “all chat bar”

Time compression will not be used for the first 15 minutes of a game. (The convoy ships can sometimes randomly collide with each other causing the convoy in some instances to come to a complete standstill or just slow up the convoys’ journey forward)

Compression MUST be put back to “normal” (1x) prior to anyone firing any weapon. (This includes a DD requesting air support)

NEVER ANNOUNCE THAT YOU OR ANYONE ELSE WAS KILLED DURING A MISSION!!!!!             2 exceptions only: - The disconnection of a player (nothing worse hunting a “ghost sub”) the name and last known coordinates of the player should be announced. - If you must leave the game or cannot stick around for the conclusion of the game.

End of Game:

No abandoning ship. If someone does, the game will continue but the player who abandoned ship will score 0.Any tonnage he/she has made will be given to other subs in the game.

DD that collide with and are destroyed by friendly forces are considered a score for the subs and tonnage will be given accordingly.

If a time cap was announced, the game will be stopped at the appropriate time. All tonnage will be scored up to that point only. If it happens that nobody scored tonnage it should still be reported.

The Host or last player in the game will draft the battle report, if you want to know the way to do this press this link; BATREP. Do not forget to take a print screen (ctl – Prt Scr) of the scoreboard at the end of the game, it’s not that we don’t trust you guy’s , but it’s a great tool to avoid mistakes.

Not sure about something…ask one of the XO’s (no such thing as a stupid question)

ABOVE RULES NOT FOLLOWED>>>GAME NOT SCORED

My dear fellow Battle-captains,

We have tried to set up an online Battle Report, but our resources seemed to be exhausted.

That means we have to do it the hard way, and you have to open your mail account yourself.

What do we do:

1. Take a printscreen of the end-screen of the game,

2. Press this link “mail to Qu-8”,

3. Copy the prtScr and leave the e-mail open,

4. Press this link “Battle Report”,

5. Open the form and fill it in using the TAB key,

6. Save this form on your pc (maybe you should make a map “battle reports),

7. Open your e-mail and add the form as an appendix to it,

8. Send the e-mail.

You now have successfully send a Battle report, congratulations.

REMARK

Like I told it in the forum, qu-league may play on, but I need to have the battraps. Sent them to Belgian.chips@telenet.be and leemansbenny@versateladsl.be

I will only score battle reports witch are made like this example.

We hope that we, by doing so, can obtain the goal of working as a team. The individual tonnages don't count, but what the Qu-league sinks as a team, as a real Wolfpack, counts. So we will be obligated to use serious tactics, and to help the fellow Qu-Brother.

So from now on, we will be forced to work together, and to use some tactics. Our goal is to beat (when challenged) other clans. Teamwork is always stressed!!!
